# How It Works

Game Layer Overview

One presale. 10 Stages. Five Token and NFT pack tiers. Infinite signal potential. Random Limited Edition Drops.

### The core loop

LivLive’s core loop is location-based and dynamically responsive: scan your environment, discover nearby quests or zones, take real-world action, and earn $LIVE in return.

#### Scanning Mechanics

Players scan their surroundings with the LivLive app and wristband to reveal floating AR quest nodes anchored to real-world GPS points. Node visibility depends on your XP level, wristband tier, physical activity since your last scan, and cooldown timing.

#### Dynamic Quest Triggers

Quests appear instantly after an environmental scan - unless blocked by cooldown timing or GPS issues. What you see is shaped by business presence, your player level, and your activity data. Some quests may rotate out due to player congestion, caps on quest traffic, or changes in sponsor activity.

#### From Action to Reward

After claiming a quest, players take specific actions like walking to a new zone, leaving a video review, or tagging a verified location.

Each completed action yields:

* XP (for level progression)
* $LIVE (your mineable reward)
* Bonus items like temporary-boost crates

#### Adaptive Seeding

Quests aren’t fixed. They’re injected based on sponsor activity, engagement gaps, and player behavior. The system responds in real time to what’s happening in real life.

#### Action-Informed Mapping

As players physically move, the app learns and adapts. It updates quest zones to reduce over-farming and personalizes node placement based on actual activity data.

#### Instant Feedback

Players see immediate confirmation of $LIVE rewards, XP gains, and leaderboard impact after each validated action.

### XP mechanics

XP is the core progression metric across LivLive. Every qualifying action - review, check in, scan - earns XP and advances your level within your wristband tier. XP controls your access to key game layers.

You earn XP by completing quests, hitting activity milestones, revisiting and validating locations, and joining community drops or group events.

XP directly affects your gameplay:

* Unlocks access to higher-tier quest zones and premium reward layers
* Expands your AR scan radius and visual range
* Reveals more valuable chests, missions, and crates

The system rewards player consistency. Returning to locations builds trust and triggers bonus XP. High-XP players gain access to more complex and rewarding quests. Some crates and AR zones are visible only once you cross a specific XP threshold.

Progress is always visible in the LivLive app:

* A dynamic XP bar increases with every validated action
* New zones unlock as you hit XP thresholds
* Visual feedback reinforces XP growth and encourages daily play

### Level-based visibility system

LivLive content is dynamically revealed based on your XP level. As players level up, they unlock deeper AR layers within the same physical environment. Not everyone sees the same city - visibility is shaped by your engagement.

Leveling up reveals:

* Hidden chests, crates and vaults in previously scanned spots
* Elevated missions with higher rewards and sponsored perks
* Private or limited-visibility challenges seeded by sponsors

For example, a Level 2 player might see a basic check-in quest at a shop, while a Level 4 player sees a hidden vault in the same location. Higher levels unlock access to business-sponsored zones and secret flash hunts.

Your world expands as you act. As your XP increases, your map reshapes, scan detail improves, and more data-rich overlays appear. Action, not purchases, drives access.

The system is built to encourage curiosity and return visits. Revisiting locations at higher XP can uncover new opportunities. Businesses can tailor missions to player levels, ensuring both progression and relevance.

### Tier progression and unlocks

Your wristband tier determines your starting capabilities. Players choose a tier by purchasing a specific wristband: IGNITE, RISE, LUXE, VIP, or ICON.

Higher-tier wristbands grant:

* **Increased Mining Power:** Earn more $LIVE per qualifying action, boosting your ability to accumulate and spend tokens faster/
* **Accelerated XP Gain:** Progress through levels more quickly as your real-world activity translates into greater XP rewards.
* **Expanded AR Visibility:** See more quest nodes, rare zones, premium missions, and time-sensitive drops than lower-tier players.
* **Exclusive NFT Chests:** Unlock hidden, tier-specific NFT chests only visible to premium wristband holders, containing rare digital assets, collectibles, or one-of-a-kind power-ups.
* **Priority Quest Access:** Be first to access certain sponsor missions, flash hunts, or limited-supply rewards before they’re visible to lower tiers.
* **Enhanced Scan Radius:** Wider area scans reveal more opportunities per interaction, allowing you to discover distant quests and rewards others can’t see.

Tier impacts are immediate. From day one, higher-tier players see more crate drops, rare zones, and sponsor missions in the environment.

Within each tier, XP progression governs what’s revealed on your map. For example, a Level 2 player might access merchant quests, while a Level 4 player may unlock hidden vaults in the same location.

Tiers and levels interact. A Level 1 ICON player can see more than a Level 5 IGNITE player - thanks to enhanced radar and AR visibility - but only if the ICON player actively scans. A Level 4 RISE player might access zone-specific multi-crate loops not available to lower tiers.

Tier-specific unlocks include:

* Mining Power
* XP acceleration
* Greater AR visibility

Scanning is always required. Action and interaction remain mandatory, even at the highest tier. The wristband sets your access baseline; XP unlocks progression within it.

Players can upgrade tiers by purchasing a new wristband, but XP does not carry over - progression must be freshly earned.

### Competition dynamics

LivLive features layered competitive mechanics designed to reward consistency, strategy, and engagement across global and local environments.

#### Global Leaderboard

The leaderboard tracks top players based on lifetime XP and $LIVE earned. Public profiles display rank, tier, and location badges. Top performers receive status-based rewards like exclusive skins, crates, and shout-outs. Seasonal resets may be introduced to keep competition fresh and give new players a chance to rise.

#### Local Challenges

Regional brackets - such as city zones or sponsor-linked areas - host short-term competitions. These drive local engagement through quests that offer:

* Free crates
* Boosted Mining Power
* Sponsor-backed rewards (e.g., gift cards, gear, VIP invites)

Local challenges are designed to activate small business networks and foster hyperlocal attention loops.

#### Flash Hunts

Flash hunts are time-sensitive quests that appear without warning in live zones. They require quick scanning and immediate action, built around urgency with countdown timers, limited claim windows, and real-time feedback. Success favors players with faster AR scan speeds and higher tier-based unlock access.

#### Layered Competitive Mechanics

XP determines your long-term progression and map evolution. $LIVE earnings boost leaderboard status and social recognition.

Scan behavior and responsiveness are key to flash hunt outcomes, while consistency over time beats isolated bursts of activity.

#### Visibility and Bragging Rights

Leaderboards can be filtered by global or local, tier, and recent wins. Top players earn public recognition through badges, featured profiles, and access to exclusive crates. Competition isn’t just about status - it directly affects what players see, unlock, and earn.
