# Incentive Loops & Value Mechanics

The more you participate, the more you get.

### How player actions create value

Every qualifying player action generates a verifiable signal, tied to time, place, tier, and action type. Only GPS-confirmed and socially validated activity yields $LIVE.

Core signal types include:

* Check-ins at verified sponsor- or community-tagged locations
* Reviews and video submissions with contextual metadata
* Completion of multi-step quests, loops, and flash hunts
* Participation in sponsor campaigns, timed drops, and AR chest scans
* Time spent inside quest zones or event perimeters
* Validation of other players’ content via upvotes or confirm mechanisms

Each signal updates your engagement graph, behavioral history, yield patterns, and business interaction footprint. Higher engagement unlocks better quest access, more $LIVE, and increased visibility within the AR system.

Signal quality is assessed dynamically. Higher-tier players earn more per action based on a verified reliability index. Multi-action chains - such as check-in → video → review - amplify signal weight and reward potential.

These signals also feed anonymized, real-time analytics to businesses. Insights include attention heatmaps, engagement depth, conversion patterns, and tier-based breakdowns.

The loop is systemically reinforcing: players take action, generate verified signals, and earn $LIVE. Businesses gain insight from that data, fund new quests, and in turn, expand access and opportunities for players.

### What businesses get from the loop

Businesses spend $LIVE to insert themselves into the attention layer of the map. In exchange, they receive verified engagement from real-world actions. Every review, check in, or scan is GPS confirmed, timestamped, and supported by biometric input - eliminating bots, spam, and incentivized fraud.

LivLive delivers filtered, multi-format feedback to businesses that reflects actual player behavior and emotional resonance. Businesses can issue targeted $LIVE bounties - for example: 10 $LIVE for a video review, 5 $LIVE for a check-in - creating a closed-loop, opt-in marketing flywheel that outperforms blind ad spend.

Visibility is driven by community XP scores and biometric engagement, not payment. The best businesses rise to the top.

Additional benefits include:

* Player-driven credibility: Business discovery is shaped by joy, presence, and engagement, not corporate marketing.
* Dynamic placement: Businesses that drive interaction can unlock leaderboard slots, portal visibility, and premium drop zones.
* No intermediaries: All incentives flow directly to players - no platform rent.
* External analytics API: Coming soon, businesses will be able to plug into anonymized engagement patterns and cross-venue behavior to understand player flow across the LivLive ecosystem.

### How the incentive loop aligns

The $LIVE incentive loop is designed to keep value flowing through action, access, and status. Players earn through real-world engagement, and then reinvest those tokens to unlock deeper rewards, higher visibility, and more powerful tools.

Each of the following mechanics illustrates how spending $LIVE directly reinforces player progression and ecosystem health.

#### Chest and Crate Unlocks

Players can open randomized chests and crates, packed with boosts, tokens, and rare gear, by spending $LIVE, reaching a required XP level, completing specific missions, or holding the right wristband tier. Some combine these conditions to reward ongoing progression and engagement.

#### Wristband Tier Upgrades

Post-launch, players can redeem $LIVE to upgrade their wristband tier. Upgrades increase Mining Power, XP acceleration, and AR visibility. Unlocking a new tier requires both $LIVE and a matching XP milestone.

#### Sponsored Boosts

$LIVE can be used to activate sponsored boosts - enhancing visibility, unlocking premium campaign zones, or temporarily increasing XP and drop rates. Boosts are stackable but time-limited (e.g., a 2-hour power-up boost burst for your scanning radius).

#### Marketplace Access

The LivLive marketplace runs on $LIVE. Players can purchase premium mods, custom assets, seasonal cosmetic avatar exclusives, and map overlays. Some items are tier-locked or rotate by season. Map filters and visual tokens - like glowing scans or celebratory flares - also cost $LIVE.

#### Quest Filter Unlocks

High-level players can spend $LIVE to unlock rare quest types or regional drops. Filters allow sorting by reward size, XP yield, or business sponsorship, giving players more control over their engagement.

#### Referral Boosts

Referral rewards are tied to verified milestones:

* XP-based tiers
* Wallet-linked actions

Referred players must complete onboarding and the initial quest chain for the referrer to earn $LIVE.

### Signal quality vs. reward multiplier

Not all actions yield the same $LIVE reward. Each is weighted based on quality, effort, and verifiability. High-effort, high-fidelity signals earn significantly more $LIVE than passive or low-quality interactions. This system design drives truthful behavior, reduces spam, and increases trust in deserving businesses.

#### What Determines Reward Multipliers

* Signal type: Video review > text review > check in.
* Wristband tier: Higher tiers unlock higher multipliers.
* Contextual conditions: Location, scarcity, and quest type affect yield.

#### Reward Scaling by Action Type

| Action Type | Signal Strength | Multiplier Range |
| ---------------------------------- | --------------- | ------------------------- |
| Video review | High | Up to 50x (at ICON tier) |
| Written review | Medium | \~0.5x to 10x |
| Check in | Low | 0.25x to 5x |
| Passive XP actions (e.g., walking) | N/A | XP only - no $LIVE earned |

#### Referral Bonuses Stack with Multipliers

Referrals trigger additional $LIVE rewards. Multiplier strength is influenced by both the referring and referred players’ tiers.

Tier = Yield

Wristband tiers play a central role with $LIVE yield. Higher tiers like Icon receive exponentially greater $LIVE per action, encouraging players to upgrade for better reward efficiency.

### Privacy and opt-in design

LivLive enforces privacy through a set of opt-in principles that prioritize user control, consent, and visibility.

| Privacy Principle | How LivLive enforces it |
| ----------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Opt-in, always | Players must manually enable location, camera, and mic. No ambient tracking or passive data scraping. |
| Action = consent | Every quest, check-in, or scan is explicitly triggered by the user. No background step logging or silent signals. |
| AR requires presence + intent | Zones stay inactive until a player physically enters and scans. Keeps visual control in the user’s hands - nothing appears without deliberate entry. |
| No forced sponsorship | Branded quests and radar boosts are opt-in. Players choose when and if to engage - no default targeting. |
| Earn through choice | $LIVE rewards come only from voluntary, verified actions like reviews, media uploads, or content validation. No passive earnings. |
| No ad resale model | Player data is never sold. Businesses pay players directly through quests - not ad networks. |
| Visibility = user-controlled | Players manage what businesses can see - AR tags, engagement stats, and quest history are all toggleable in settings. |
| Presence + intention = access | Participation only unlocks access when players are actively present and engaged. No exploitation, tracking, or passive funneling of behavior. |
